This econometric study covers the latent demand outlook for multi- and single-station fitness training units and home gyms across the states, union territories and cities of India. Latent demand (in millions of U.S. dollars), or potential industry earnings (P.I.E.) estimates are given across over 5,100 cities in India. For each city in question, the percent share the city is of it’s state or union territory and of India as a whole is reported. These comparative benchmarks allow the reader to quickly gauge a city vis-a-vis others. This statistical approach can prove very useful to distribution and/or sales force strategies. Using econometric models which project fundamental economic dynamics within each state or union territory and city, latent demand estimates are created for multi- and single-station fitness training units and home gyms. This report does not discuss the specific players in the market serving the latent demand, nor specific details at the product level. The study also does not consider short-term cyclicalities that might affect realized sales. The study, therefore, is strategic in nature, taking an aggregate and long-run view, irrespective of the players or products involved.
This study does not report actual sales data (which are simply unavailable, in a comparable or consistent manner in virtually all of the cities in India). This study gives, however, my estimates for the latent demand, or the P.I.E., for multi- and single-station fitness training units and home gyms in India. It also shows how the P.I.E. is divided and concentrated across the cities and regional markets of India. For each state or union territory, I also show my estimates of how the P.I.E. grows over time. In order to make these estimates, a multi-stage methodology was employed that is often taught in courses on strategic planning at graduate schools of business.

Question by Mama T: I am a single american woman living in india, wanting to adopt indian child….need help!!!!! ?
Is this possible? I know of a precious little girl living with a reputable NGO. She is HIV positive. What are the chances, that I, as a single american woman residing in India long term with a business visa can adopt this precious child? What process do I need to start? Can you give me any contacts for the Bangalore area? Is this possible, or am I chasing an impossible dream?
Answer by Arun’s Mum Why don’t you ask NGO people about adoption methods.. they will help you..
As for as I know Indians don’t usually like to give adoption to single parent that too from abroad.. I think you may need to prove lots of things like family back ground, financial status and all…
still you are doing a noble thing I hope you wl succeed.. good Luck..
Question by Samantha: Single American girl traveling alone to India or Turkey?
I’ve always been fascinated by these two countries because of their rich history and amazing art. I want to do a solo trip to one of these around spring break or summer. Which one should I go to? I’m going to make the trip alone. Are there any tips for a single girl on the road in these countries?
I know this next part is silly, but I’d love to have a travel romance on this trip. Do men in these countries like American girls or will I be pretty much ignored?
Answer by conspicuousspy Of course they love foreign chicks. You will have a good time. Just be safe and use common sense. Do extensive online research of the places you would like to visit and what transportation is available. Never walk alone at night in a shady part of town.
