Question by alabamababy13: How can I get people interested in speed dating?
I’m a speed dating coordinator in Oklahoma City for cupid.com and it seems darn near impossible to get people to sign up for my parties, especially men over 40 and women under 30. I have a limited budget to do advertising with and I need some creative advertising ideas.
Answer by Aowyn07 Make the details of what goes on very clear & understandable from a far off perspective.. Don’t make people actually take the initiative to look into it in order to figure out what it’s all about, because most people won’t.
I think a lot of people just have a very vague idea of what it is…
After watching 40 Year Old Virgin, I’d do it if I wasn’t with someone. It sounds stupid, but it looks like it could be a lot of fun. (I know the movie probably embellished it.. it gave me some insight on what’s involved though.)
Question by Chris Taylor: I have Aspergers Syndrome I was wondering should I mention I have it on dating sites?
I joined Plenty of Fish and OK Cupid Ive been on dating sites for a while but never got responses. But anyway I was wondering if I should mention I have Aspergers in my “About Me” sections. If people ever read my bio maybe they will understand my limited or awkward messages I send them, not awkward but its hard to get a real conversation going. But nice looking woman don’t want to date some one that’s not like them right?
Answer by KT I don’t think you need to mention directly that you have AS. You could just say that you’re really shy/awkward when you first meet some one.

Question by REALDEAL101: A question about ok cupid (online dating)
If you answer the key question, the ones given right after you submit an email. What happens to the email if you answer it wrong?
Answer by Chica27 I don’t know for sure but I’d say you should resend the email just in case and then try again to answer the question, just to be on the safe side. If the email’s already been sent though it’s likely they can’t or won’t try to undo the email when you got the question wrong.
Question by Joe Smoe: whats are some good online free dating sites?
i tried plentyoffish, ok cupid, and date hookup i think they all suck not enough search results. so what r some good free dating sites? also if i did pay for a non free one which is best? like what one is better eharmony, match, chemistry, ect.
Answer by Steve Well, it depends what you’re looking for. You can also use Findthebest.com to compare various dating sites.
I personally think OK Cupid is a good place to go. Hate to say it, but maybe the problem isn’t the dating sites, it’s how you approach them and come across to potential candidates.
I wouldn’t recommend paying for them, since there are enough free sites out there that work.
Question by waverboy5: What is the number one free dating site?
I have already tried plenty of fish and ok cupid but those dating sites don’t work. Just a load of crap. What other free dating sites are there (that are good and that actually work in terms of finding you the “right person”)?
