Divorced women who own homes…question for ya?

Question by justagirl: Divorced women who own homes…question for ya?
Do you do all the yard work and house maintenance by yourself, or are you able to afford paying someone for help with it all? I can’t afford help and do it all myself and I gotta admit, I’m tired, lol! Would it be really dastardly to start dating a lawnboy, window washer, mechanic, etc…different guy for each job, you know, so they don’t get worn out….

Is there help for young divorced women?

Question by Profile Deleted: Is there help for young divorced women?
I guess I’ve read too many romance novels in my lifetime. I believed in love and thought leaving everything to marry my husband and start a wonderful life with him was going to bring me…well, us…happiness for a lifetime. Tomorrow is our one year anniversary and it just seems more like a disappointing day than anything since we’ve been planning on a divorce. I let college, the people I were staying with, and pretty much everything to follow him around with his military job. I have no money, no car, no college degree, and no hope right now.
Where can I get help? Can I get tuition assistance to live in college dorms? Can I get housing assistance? What can I do?

marriage with a divorced women.?

Question by gambler: marriage with a divorced women.?
hi,

I am living in dubai and got a gf who i want to marry, she is also currently living in dubai. She was previously married and got her divorce from her ex husband. i want to marry her but i dont want anybody to know (not my family either) that she was previously married. i know it is necessary for her to show proof of divorce before getting remarried. Is it possible if she lies and say that she never got marrid. is there a way they can find out that she was married. We will be marrying in court in dubai.

your help will be appreciated

Given that you are so ashamed of her that you want to lie about her past, I predict a very bad marriage. Since you don’t like who she is, you should do her the favor of setting her free to find someone who can be proud to be in a marriage with her.

(Divorced women only please) What else can I say?

Question by Mrs Sunshine: (Divorced women only please) What else can I say?
My friend is still in love with her ex-husband of 7yrs. He wanted to see other people and now he’s told her over and over he wants her back and that he changed. It’s been 2yrs of her being single and dating but she realizes how hard it is to find a great guy. She’s been depressed for two yrs due to her divorce and she’s considering taking him back and start a family. Am I wrong to tell her what she wants to hear? That experience made her stronger and she explored both worlds to help her realize what she truly is missing in her life.

Statistically, the divorce rate is higher in second marriages than they are in first marriages, whether it’s to the same person or not!

What do single women (never married & divorced) think of dating divorced men?

Question by Help Me: What do single women (never married & divorced) think of dating divorced men?
Probably depends on circumstance. Mine is that the wife cheated. When she lost her job, she got lured into the social world of online video games, chatting, texting and webcamming (not G rated btw) and turned into a real thing.

I’m newly divorced. I’m taking a positive side of things of the relationship. There were both bad and good from it – I learned and I’m going to do it better next time around. I haven’t started dating, but I personally don’t mind dating an unmarried or divorce woman. I’m not sure about getting into a relationship with a “ready-made” family, but I have yet to date someone with children. I’m open to it though. I’m also fairly young at 31 and have no children, so I don’t have too many strikes against me. It’s just terrifying going back being single after being in a committed relationship for 6+ years. Also considering all my friends are married and are having there first child already or on the way. So I’m pretty much out there alone.

Just getting a some opinions. Maybe it’ll help me cope a bit and move on. I’m trying to go out every weekend so I don’t turn into a depressed “recluse.” Yeah, it sucks. Its hard trying to get life back on track after a divorce.

Asking divorced women about this, any help would be appreciated.?

Question by Bk T: Asking divorced women about this, any help would be appreciated.?
I was starting a relationship with a woman who was a good friend and was getting a divorce. We got along great, but we had to be discreet because of pending divorce, ect. Now she is divorced and she attacked everything about me and dumped me. She says that I only wanted the good and not the bad, and that she is afraid her ex will tell her young son about how we met, ect. She dumped me and now is running around dating on the internet because she says that she doesn’t want to settle down, she wants to live life to the fullest. She says she loves me but timing is everything and its not our time. I am obviously crushed because this went on for 2 years and now she wont have anything to do with me. She tells me she is being selfish and that she is trying to find a guy like me but wont take me because of her kid finding out about us ect. Whats going on? I want to repair our friendship but I think she is too far gone.
I spoke with her ex husband and she called him and yelled at him telling him he is the reason we are not together. He said she told him that we would be together but he was going to tell their son how they met. This was the day after Valentines.

Let her go. She’s flighty, on the rebound and doesn’t want to be tied down. She’ll come down to earth soon enough. Don’t wait around for her, but do stand back; she’s got CRASH written all over her and you’ll want to steer clear of the debris.

Where can a divorced women with kids meet a decent guy?

Question by MrJohnson: Where can a divorced women with kids meet a decent guy?
I divorced two years ago had have a pistol of a time meeting decent men. Sometimes i think it’s because I live in a blue-collar suburban area. The men are dumb, sexist, and boring.
Either they are married, cheating, and out for one thing,
or old and wreched. And please don’t mention work or church groups. I work at a factory where men just want one thing,
and the Baptists church group is full of jesus freaks.
I’m about to crack up. HELP!

speaking as a single male, i might ask the same thing about single or divorced women….i would like to take the time to get to know someone (bf/gf sort of thing), then see if it works into a relationship…..yeah, i think that it could be done….the decent guys are out there…they may not simply advertise the fact that they are decent guys…maybe they have been screwed over too many times….have patience….keep looking….they are out there….good luck to you

Divorced women Do you feel you are held to a higher standard?

Question by imdpo: Divorced women Do you feel you are held to a higher standard?
If you have been divorced for a period of time do you ever feel like you are expected to be super human?
Like if a widow were in the same difficult situation people would fall over themselves to help her out, but because you are divorced you are just supposed to suck it up.

Do you ever feel like the men you are dating are just looking for a woman to take care of them?

Best answer:

Answer by Danny
I’m not divorced, my Mom will be soon though.

But when she became a widow in 1994 it’s like you said. People would trip over one another just to help her out. She got remarried in 1995 and she is getting divorced now, and it’s like people don’t even think that being divorced is a big deal, that she isn’t hurting inside, that she might actually need some help and someone to console her.

I can’t say about the men and dating thing yet, she hasn’t started to date yet, as the divorce hasn’t happened yet. Just the separation.

~Danny
