Service dogs have a special place in my heart as I spent more then three years on the San Bernardino County Sheriff Department’s Wilderness Search & Rescue Team with my pal Izzy, a German Rottweiler.

This is "Split", and he is the service companion of one of the members of our photography group who is wheelchair bound. On this day Split was diligently listing to a presentation on HDR. (Not sure how much he learned though)

I considered this a typical "Editorial" type of photograph. This was shot in a an art center during a presentation on the projector, so the main lights turned off and only a few of the highlight incandescents around the walls were shooting spots on the art work. White Balance was a challenge as well as the extremely low light.
