Christians, how do you handle giving personal advice to someone who doesn’t want to be converted?

Question by Herod the Great: Christians, how do you handle giving personal advice to someone who doesn’t want to be converted?
Do you respect their wishes or do you persist and press on regardless by slipping in the the odd reference to God or Jesus?
Do you care more about selling the faith than respecting the wishes of others?

What’s your first priority when offering your advice, helping them or selling them something?
